This photo was taken at about 5:00 PM and you can see the temperature is 151 degrees Fahrenheit. I have seen it as high as 165.

This photo was taken at the same time but this container has been painted white. The temperature is 119 degrees Fahrenheit. That is 32 degrees cooler and it is totally passive, no energy required!
